Foundry Building

The CRA is issuing this Operator RFP to select an operator & master tenant to occupy, program, and maintain The Foundry Building at 101 Rogers St in Cambridge. The Operator will manage the Foundry as a self-sustaining & innovative center that offers a collaborative environment for visual & performing arts, entrepreneurship, technology & workforce education. 

The Operator will curate non-profit, community, & market-rate programs that can coexist within the 50,000 sf bldg. The Operator, subject to a master lease with the CRA, will perform three major roles:  property management, program management & outreach for an initial term of 5 years, consistent with the Foundry Demonstration Project Plan pursuant to M.G.L. Forward Fund

Kendall Square

The Kendall Square Urban Renewal Plan (KSURP) includes a major urban mixed-use project on a 24-acre site within the 42-acre Kendall Square Urban Renewal Area.  In 2015, the CRA and the City of Cambridge Amended the KSURP along with the MXD zoning district to provide additional housing and commercial development in Kendall Square.
