CAREERS

  • The CRA is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Asset Management Specialist to play a crucial role in our organization. As part of the Finance and Operations team, this hands-on position assists with the management of the CRA’s capital assets, including real estate properties and technology equipment. This role coordinates the work of third-party property management, landscaping management, and snow management companies. The position will also lead to the care and deployment of the organization’s technology equipment.

This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who can effortlessly transition between coordinating a roof repair and troubleshooting a projector setup. It demands strong organizational skills to maintain accurate asset records and the technical aptitude to quickly diagnose and address equipment issues across various platforms. The ability to adapt quickly to new technology and unfamiliar physical environments is paramount to success.

The specialist acts as the frontline coordinator for the physical environment at CRA properties. This involves ensuring the premises are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. It includes property maintenance coordination, managing vendor relationships (e.g., HVAC, cleaning, repairs), and overseeing the inventory of all non-IT physical assets (furniture, office supplies, tools).

This function ensures the company's critical technology and specialized equipment are functioning reliably. A critical component is the Audio/Visual (AV) readiness for executive functions, requiring the setup, testing, and real-time troubleshooting of sophisticated conference room technology for board meetings and other high-level events. Additionally, coordinate technology applications at properties, including internet and security systems.

    Qualifications

    • Education: An Associate Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Experience/Training: Current enrollment or successful completion of a relevant professional certification (e.g., Information Technology, CompTIA A+, ITIL, or property/facilities management credential) will be considered instead of a degree.

    • Minimum of three years of experience in general management.

    Compensation and Benefits

Salary range is $72,000 - $78,000 based on skills and experience. Our benefit package includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, professional development stipend, transit subsidy, partial cell phone service subsidy, and membership in the Cambridge Retirement System.
