The Foundry Consortium has been selected as the operator & master tenant for a term of 5-years. They will occupy, program, and maintain The Foundry Building located at 101 Rogers Street. The Operator will manage the Foundry as a self-sustaining & innovative center that offers a collaborative environment for visual & performing arts, entrepreneurship, technology & workforce education, consistent with the Foundry Demonstration Project Plan pursuant to M.G.L. Boston Properties has proposed an amendment to Phase II of the Infill Development Concept Plan (IDCP) previously approved in 2017. The amendment involves a shift of approximately 250,000 square feet of commercial building area from 250 Binney Street to 325 Main Street. 325 Main Street currently houses the MIT Coop and office space, and abuts the Kendall Roof Garden, Kendall Plaza and the Kendall Red Line T-Station.
