This Project In the News

In 2024, KSTEP granted approval of the CRA’s proposal for a new bus shelter at the northwestern corner of the intersection of Main and Ames Streets. The shelter’s design and placement were finalized following a comprehensive engineering review to ensure compatibility with existing underground utilities and avoid potential conflicts. The shelter, which has already been procured, will serve the enhanced EZRide service and new bus routes introduced as part of the MBTA’s Bus Network Redesign.
